Do Not Avoid Water Tank Vastu & Bring Good Results

According to Vastu Shastra, the water tank in a building plays a significant role in influencing the energy flow and overall harmony of the space. Here are some guidelines to consider for water tank placement to ensure positive energy and good results:

Ø Location: Ideally, the water tank should be placed in the northeast direction of the building. The northeast is considered auspicious and is associated with the element of water. Placing the water tank in this direction is believed to attract positive energy and prosperity.

Ø Elevation: The water tank should be positioned in such a way that it is elevated above the ground level. This helps in maintaining the purity and cleanliness of the water. Ensure that the tank is securely supported and there are no leaks or seepage issues.

Ø Avoid the Southwest: Avoid placing the water tank in the southwest direction of the building. The southwest is considered a significant zone for stability and strength, and having a water tank in this area can disrupt the balance and cause financial and health-related issues.

Ø North or East Placement: If it is not possible to place the water tank in the northeast, you can consider placing it in the north or east direction of the building. However, consult with a Vastu expert or architect to determine the most suitable alternative placement based on the specific layout of your property.

Ø Cleanliness: Regular maintenance and cleanliness of the water tank are crucial. Ensure that the tank is cleaned periodically to prevent the accumulation of dirt, algae, or impurities. Clean water promotes positive energy and keeps the environment healthy.

Ø Overflow: Avoid having the water tank overflow towards the south or west direction. This can create imbalance and affect the energy flow in the building. Make sure that the overflow outlet is directed towards the north, east, or northeast direction.

Ø Proximity to Other Elements: The water tank should not be placed near the kitchen or toilet areas. Water and fire elements are considered conflicting in Vastu Shastra, so keeping the water tank away from the kitchen and toilets helps maintain harmony.

Ø Consultation: If you are unsure about the placement of the water tank or have specific concerns, it is advisable to consult with a Vastu expert. They can provide personalized advice based on your property's layout and help you optimize the energy flow.

Remember that while following Vastu guidelines can create a positive environment, practicality and functionality should also be considered. The primary purpose of the water tank is to provide a reliable water supply, so ensure that it is easily accessible and well-maintained.
